About Brett Christenson

Brett Christenson From a young age, Brett discovered a profound passion for capturing the world through the lens of a camera. At just eight years old, he picked up his first camera, a Kodak Instamatic, finding joy in the simple act of taking pictures while traveling with his family on vacations throughout the United States. This early fascination with photography grew into a lifelong pursuit. By the age of 18, Brett acquired his first 35mm camera, marking a significant milestone in his journey. Armed with this new tool, he began to explore the art of photography with greater depth and sophistication. For about six years, Brett dedicated himself to studying photography, immersing himself in the intricacies of portraiture, lighting, and product photography. These years of learning and experimentation laid a strong foundation for his hobby. Throughout the 1980s, Brett photographed numerous weddings. With a keen eye for detail and an innate ability to capture the essence of special moments, he documented countless love stories, creating timeless memories for couples and families. As the years passed, Brett’s creative vision evolved, and he transitioned into landscape, wildlife, and nature photography. Drawing on the principles he honed during earlier years, Brett applied his experience in portraiture and lighting to capture the beauty of the natural world. His work now celebrates the splendor of landscapes, the wonder of wildlife, and the serenity of nature, each photograph telling a unique and compelling story. Today, Brett continues to inspire others with his photography, always seeking new perspectives and pushing the boundaries of his craft.
